Biography:
Raima Sen was born on November 11, 1979 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India. She made her acting debut in the 1999 film Godmother.
In 2001, she starred in another film, Daman, in which she played the supporting role of Deepa Saikia. Her portrayal of Deepa gained appreciation from the critics and audiences alike.
Her breakthrough came in 2003 when she starred in Rituparno Ghosh’s film Chokher Bali. She gained wider prominence and her caliber as an actress was further fortified when she starred in the 2005 film Parineeta.
She has since appeared in such films as The Bong Connection and Eklavya: The Royal Guard.
