Biography:

Rakshanda Khan was born on September 27, 1974 in Mumbai, India. She attended St Xavier’s College and graduated with a B.A. in English Literature in 1995. Her television career began with her role as Mallika Seth in the serial Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin.

She then gained wider recognition after being cast as Tanya Virani in the television show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She also became known for her role as Roshni Chopra in Kasamh Se.

She has since made several appearances in such television programs as Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki, Kitani Mohabbat Hai, Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Angan Hoga and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, among others.
