Biography:

Rami Malek was born on May 12, 1981 in Los Angeles, California, U.S.. He took acting courses at the University of Evansville and began acting on television playing guest roles in Gilmore Girls, Over There, and Medium before landing his first notable role as Kenny in The War at Home. In 2006, he made his theatrical debut in Night at the Museum, a role he reprised in 2009’s Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and 2014’s Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb.

In the 2010s, he played a recurring character in 24 and appeared as Merriell “Snafu” Shelton in six episodes of the miniseries The Pacific. He went on to appear in the movies Battleship, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, and The Master in 2012. Further success came recently after landing a lead role in the critically acclaimed series Mr. Robot.
