Biography:

Randeep Hooda was born on 20 August 1976 in Rohtak, Haryana, India. He attended Motilal Nehru School of Sports. There, he got into acting by performing in school productions. He studied in Australia and started modeling upon his return to India. In 2001, he made his film debut in Monsoon Wedding. He next had roles in the films D, Darna Zaroori Hai, Risk, Ru Ba Ru, and Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye. His breakthrough role came in 2010 with the movie Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai.

The following year, he starred in the film Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster, which earned him Best Actor in a Supporting Role nominations. His performances in the movies Jannat 2 and Highway made him more popular. He went on to star in the 2014 movie Rang Rasiya, getting him a Best Actor nomination at the Filmfare Awards. In 2020, he starred in the Hindi film Love Aaj Kal, as well as made his international debut in the Hollywood film Extraction.
