Biography:

Ranveer Singh was born on July 6, 1985 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He attended Indiana University in Bloomington where he pursued his Bachelor of Arts degree.

In 2010, he landed the lead role in the film Band Baaja Baaraat. After its release, the film became a commercial and critical success, with his portrayal being acclaimed by critics. He then won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

He continued to appear in several other films, including Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, Lootera, and in the upcoming movies Ram-Leela, Gunday and Kill Dil.
