Biography:

Raquel Zimmermann was born on May 6, 1983 in Retiro do Sul, Brazil. At age 14, she was scouted by an agency in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and made her way to Japan and to Paris.

In 2000, she was booked for the cover of Vogue Italia, and her career has since flourished. She has appeared in advertising campaigns for such brands as Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, GAP, Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton and many others.

She then appeared in the 2002, 2005 and 2006 Victoria’s Secret fashion shows. Vogue Paris also declared her one of the Top 30 models of the 2000s.
