Biography:

Raúl Castillo was born on August 30, 1977 in McAllen, Texas, U.S. He developed his interest in acting during his teens, leading him to perform in school plays. In his later life, he moved to New York to pursue a stage career, ultimately establishing a career in off-Broadway. In 2007, he made his film debut in Amexicano. He next had one-time parts in the TV shows Nurse Jackie, Law & Order, and All My Children.

In the 2010s, he had his first starring role on TV, playing Richie Donado Ventura in the HBO series Looking. After this, he portrayed Eduardo Flamingo / The Flamingo in Gotham. He reprised his role as Richie in Looking’s TV movie sequel Looking: The Movie. He went on to play Nick in Atypical and Felix Osorio in Seven Seconds. As a film actor, he’s had performances in Special Correspondents, Unsane, Knives Out, and Little Fish.
