Ray Liotta is an American actor. His acting career started in the 1980s. He made his breakthrough as Ray Sinclair in the movie Something Wild. For his performance here, he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture. His next prominent role was as ‘Shoeless’ Joe Jackson in the movie Field of Dreams. He continued his prolific career in the ’90s, portraying Henry Hill in Goodfellas. The rest of the decade saw him star in the films Unlawful Entry, Unforgettable, Phoenix, and Cop Land. In the 2000s, he starred in the film Narc, which he also produced. Other films during this period include John Q, Take the Lead, Smokin’ Aces, Wild Hogs, and Battle in Seattle, among others. As of 2016, he stars as Lieutenant Matt Wozniak on the TV series Shades of Blue.
