Biography:
Rebecca Hall was born on May 19, 1982 in London, England, United Kingdom. Her father is Royal Shakespeare Company founder Peter Hall. She attended St Catharine’s College, Cambridge where she studied English Literature.
Her first professional acting role came in 1992 when she appeared in her father’s TV adaptation of The Camomile Lawn. In 2006, she made her film feature debut with her role as Rebecca Epstein in Starter for Ten.
She came to worldwide fame when she starred as Vicky in the film Vicky Cristina Barcelona. For her role, she earned a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.
