Biography:
Regé-Jean Page was born in 1990 in London, United Kingdom. Raised in Harare, Zimbabwe, he returned to the UK during his teens where he became interesting in acting. He then attended Drama Centre London and graduated in 2013. Initially, his professional acting career started with the 2004 short film Troublemaker. He next appeared in an episode of Casualty. After a long hiatus, he returned to acting in the 2010s and first appeared as an extra in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1.
Following a 2-episode guest role in Fresh Meat, he landed the role of Guy Braxton in Waterloo Road. He also appeared in the film Survivor. He ultimately ventured into Hollywood, starring in the miniseries Roots, as well as in the short-lived ABC series For the People. This year, he rose to greater fame courtesy of his role as Simon Basset in Bridgerton. To add, he had performances in the movies Mortal Engines and Sylvie’s Love.
