Regina Cassandra switched her diet to vegan in 2011 after coming across an article by PETA. Deeply affected by it, she decided to cut meat from her diet. She now sticks to a plant-based diet, also getting her protein from plant-based sources such as beans, soy and nuts. The actress has since adapted to this and found it beneficial for her body.
Apart from choosing her food well, the actress also stays healthy by eating in moderation and cutting back on processed foods. Junk food is out of the question, though she allows herself to indulge from time to time. Nonetheless, she finds ways to make her meals healthier. Because there are several options for vegans nowadays, it’s easier for her to satisfy her cravings and eat well at the same time.
