Biography:

Rene Russo was born on February 17, 1954 in Burbank, California, USA. She began her career as a model when she was spotted at a Rolling Stones concert by an agent from International Creative Management.

She signed with Ford Modeling Agency and appeared on the covers of such magazines as Vogue and Cosmopolitan. She then transitioned into acting and made her television debut as Eden Kendell in the series Sable. Her first film appearance was as Lynn Wells in Major League.

Her breakthrough role was as LAPD Sgt. Lorna Cole in Lethal Weapon 3. She has since starred in other movies such as In the Line of Fire, Outbreak, Get Shorty, Lethal Weapon 4, The Thomas Crown Affair and Thor.
