Biography:

Riley Voelkel was born on April 26, 1990, in Elk Grove, California, United States. She relocated to Los Angeles to become a model but ultimately found herself getting into acting. In 2010, she had her debut appearing in the pilot episode of Glory Daze. That same year, she also made her first film appearance in The Social Network where she was an extra. Her first credited role on the big screen was in the teen film Prom.

On television, she landed her first recurring role as Jenna Johnson on HBO’s The Newsroom. She next played the Young Fiona Goode on American Horror Story: Coven. She next starred as Carrie Smith in the film The Secret Lives of Dorks. From 2014 to 2018, she gained mainstream recognition for starring as Freya Mikaelson on The Originals. She will star in the upcoming series Roswell, New Mexico.
