Biography:

Rita Volk was born on September 3, 1990 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She was six when she left for San Francisco, U.S. with her family. She then became interested in acting after being spotted by a modeling scout, which paved the way for her to begin auditioning for commercials. During her time as a student, she was active in school plays.

After high school, she attended Duke University, finishing a degree in Psychology/Pre-Med. She also acted in student films while a college student. In 2012, she began her acting career as she made her TV debut in Rizzoli & Isles, followed by a guest spot in Major Crimes. She made her film debut in 2014’s The Hungover Games. As of 2014, she plays Amy Raudenfeld in Faking It.
