Biography:
Robert Aramayo was born on November 6, 1992 in Kingston upon Hull, United Kingdom. He has been acting since he was a young boy, starting in school productions. Deeply interested in performing, he joined Hull Truck Youth Theatre where he was active in stage plays. While in college, he was accepted and earned a place at the Juilliard School in New York City where he starred in many more theater productions. With his prestigious acting background, he started pursuing a career in the US and soon landed several major projects.
In 2016, he made his screen debut as the Young Ned Stark in the sixth season of the popular series Game of Thrones. Appearing in a couple of episodes, he instantly became well-known. That same year, he also had his cinematic debut as Steve “Turk” Adams in Nocturnal Animals. He went on to star in the movies Lost in Florence, Galveston, The Standoff at Sparrow Creek, Stray Dolls, and Eternal Beauty. His television career during this period also continued to flourish, starring as William S. Harley in the miniseries Harley and the Davidsons.
In 2019, he portrayed serial killer Elmer Wayne Henley Jr. in an episode of Mindhunter. He next starred in the films Antebellum and The Empty Man. In 2021, Robert Aramayo starred as Sergeant Major Atkins in the movie The King’s Man. That same year, he starred as Rob in the Netflix series Behind Her Eyes. Aramayo became further known after it was announced that he will play Elrond in Amazon’s upcoming series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
