Robert Forster is an American actor. He’s been acting since the 1960s, debuting in the 1967 film Reflections in a Golden Eye. In the 1970s, he starred in the TV shows Banyon and Nakia. He also appeared in the films Pieces of Dreams, The Don Is Dead, Avalanche, and The Black Hole. In 1997, he gained wider recognition for his role as Max Cherry in Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown.
In the 2000s, he had notable roles on television, including the parts of Marshall Cisco in Karen Cisco and Arthur Petrelli in Heroes. In the 2010s, he had remarkable performances in the movies The Descendants, Olympus Has Fallen, and London Has Fallen. He also played Bud Baxter in Last Man Standing and Sheriff Frank Truman in Twin Peaks.
