Early Life, Career, and Film Breakthrough
Robert Pattinson was born on May 13, 1986 in London, UK. Before having the opportunity to work as an actor professionally, he got his first taste of acting as an amateur at a theater company. His performances on some stage productions helped him enhance his talent and eventually led him to be noticed by an acting agent. He made his screen debut in 2004 with the made-for-television movie Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King. The following year, he played the role of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which got him exposure.
Subsequently, he appeared in the TV movies The Haunted Airman and The Bad Mother’s Handbook before reprising his role as Cedric in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, though it was only a cameo appearance. In 2008, he played the lead role in the independent movie How to Be. That same year, he achieved mainstream success after playing the role of Edward Cullen in Twilight, a film adaptation of the best-selling novel of the same name. Since the books already have a large following around the world, the success of the movie was only fitting.
He has since played the role of Edward in all Twilight movies, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Outside The Twilight Saga, he has also starred in Little Ashes (where he played Salvador Dali), Remember Me (where he also served as the executive producer), Love & Distrust, Water for Elephants, Bel Ami, and Cosmopolis.
His most recent work on the cinema are The Rover, Maps to the Stars, Queen of the Desert, Life, and The Childhood of a Leader. He will star as Henry Costin in the upcoming feature The Lost City of Z. From 2008, he was romantically linked to his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, though they did not acknowledge their relationship until 2012 when Stewart was Rupert Sanders, the director of her movie Snow White and the Huntsman. Pattinson eventually revealed that he and Stewart had broken up also that same year. He’s now in a relationship with singer-songwriter and dancer FKA twigs and was also engaged, although there have reports that the two have ended their engagement.
Has Robert Pattinson had Plastic Surgery?
Since his breakthrough as a movie star in 2008 courtesy of his lead role in the Twilight films, the 29-year-old English actor has been a familiar name around the globe. His performance of Edward Cullen in the aforementioned movies has certainly made him a heartthrob. Because his popularity is sometimes attributed to his good looks, the actor is susceptible to rumors of plastic surgery, which others think may been the reason why he has become so good looking these days.
However, judging from how imperfect his nose looks, it seems that the actor has never gone under the knife. Unlike other actors with slim bridges and slim noses, Pattinson’s is far from flawless. The actor’s nose somehow appears uneven, which makes a rhinoplasty procedure the more unlikely. Some plastic surgeons have looked at his photos and most of them have given similar opinions of how the actor’s face looks to be untouched by any invasive procedures. So, fans around the world should be delighted that Pattinson is really a natural charm!
