Rooney Mara Diet Plan

Rooney Mara

Petite actress Rooney Mara only made her career beginnings in the mid 2000s, first on television then eventually on the big screen. Having an older sister who’s an actress, it is not surprising that Rooney also decided to embark on an acting career. She started working as a movie actress in the late 2000s with performances in Youth in Revolt and A Nightmare on Elm Street. Her small yet significant role in the acclaimed The Social Network (2010) somehow gave her a shot to audition for a starring role in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which she ultimately won and became largely known for. Her performance in the said movie was praised that she even received an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. This achievement surely placed her as one of Hollywood’s most promising young actresses. Afterwards, she continued her success with roles in Side Effects, Her, Trash, Carol, and Pan. Being the talented and famous actress that she is, Rooney has a lot of upcoming movies.

Standing at 5’3, not only is Rooney short, she’s also very slim, which was made very apparent with her role in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Basically, the Oscar-nominated actress admitted to enjoying a vegan diet, which even helped her lose so much weight. However, her vegan diet doesn’t go the extra lengths of making her skinny. It’s because despite being thin, she feels strong and healthy. Aside from opting this kind of dietary regimen, it is also important for her that she only consumes productions or foods that are gluten-free.

Basically, she has lived on only eating fruits and vegetables and has never felt excellent inside and out. In an interview about her diet, she said: “I try to eat food that hasn’t been washed in ammonia and then packaged in the shape of breaded dinosaurs filled with cheese — even though those are very tasty. I like to eat food that can actually make it through the 20-plus feet of my small intestine.”
