Rowan Atkinson is an English actor and comedian. He first rose to fame in 1979 as a cast member of the sketch comedy series Not the Nine O’Clock News. In 1983, he made his film debut in Never Say Never Again. In the 1980s, he played Edmund, Lord Blackadder in the sitcom Blackadder. He came to wider prominence during the 1990s courtesy of his performance as Mr. Bean in the sitcom Mr. Bean. He next played the lead in the sitcom The Thin Blue Line. In the 2000s, he reprised his role as Mr. Bean in the animated sitcom based on the live-action sitcom of the same name. He also starred in the films Four Weddings and a Funeral, Johnny English, Love Actually, Mr. Bean’s Holiday, and Johnny English Reborn.
