Russell Wong is an American actor. He’s been acting since the 1980s, debuting in the 1985 film The Musical Singer. He later had roles in the films Tai-Pan and China Girl. On television, his first starring role was as Jian-Wa in the television series Vanishing Son. During the ’90s, he also had roles in the films The Joy Luck Club and Takedown. He also reprised his role as Jian-Wa in the TV movie Vanishing Son sequels Vanishing Son II, Vanishing Son III, and Vanishing Son IV. In the following decade, the actor had roles in Romeo Must Die, Twisted, Undoing, and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. During this period, he also had a notable role in the TV show Black Sash. In 2018, he appeared as himself in the film Crazy Rich Asians.
