Biography:

Ryan Gosling was born on November 12, 1980 in London, Ontario, Canada. He started his career as a child star appearing in the Disney Channel’s The Mickey Mouse Club. He then starred in such shows as Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Young Hercules.

In 2004, he made his breakthrough with a leading role in The Notebook. He then starred in Half Nelson, for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor.

He went on to star in major films, including Lars and the Real Girl, Fracture, Blue Valentine, Crazy, Stupid, Love, The Ides of March and the thriller Drive.
