Biography:

Saif Ali Khan was born on August 16, 1970 in New Delhi, India. He made his acting debut in 1992 in the film Parampara. His breakthrough came in 2004 with his roles in Main Khiladi Tu Unari and Yeh Dillagi.

He then rose to fame for his portrayal of Sameer in Farhan Akhtar’s Dil Chahta Hai in 2001.

In 2003, he starred in Kal Ho Naa Ho, which won him the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor, and the following year won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his work in Hum Tum.

He was awarded the Padma Shri by the government of India in 2010 for his accomplishments.
