Sal Stowers was born on January 20, 1986 in Pasadena, California, U.S. In 2006, she made her acting debut in the film Talking with the Taxman About Poetry. That same year, she had her first television appearance in Ugly Betty. The following year, she competed in American’s Next Top Model in its 9th cycle where she came out as the winner.

In the 2010s, she resumed her acting career. During this period, she made one-time roles in such television shows as The Exes, Mr. Box Office, and New Girl. Stowers then landed the role of Cassandra Foster in the soap opera All My Children. She gained wider attention after getting the part of Lani Price in Days of Our Lives.
