Samuel Page

Samuel Page was born on November 5, 1976 in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, United States. After high school, he attended Princeton University. There, he studied ecology and evolutionary biology, graduating in 1998. After he finished his degree, he decided to pursue acting despite having zero experience. He subsequently moved to Los Angeles where he attended numerous auditions. He eventually landed minor parts and one-episode roles in various TV shows. During his early years as an actor, he’s had guest parts in such shows as Popular and 7th Heaven.

In 2000, he got his first recurring role as Sam in Undressed. That same year, he had his first movie role in an independent film called Prison of the Dead. Page’s first notable role on TV was as Trey Kenyon in the soap opera All My Children. After that, he landed more major roles on the small screen, playing Drew Mandel in American Dreams and Jesse Parker in Point Pleasant.

He especially gained recognition for starring as Casey Woodland in Shark, Greg Harris in Mad Men, Sam Allen in Desperate Housewives, and Colin Forrester in Gossip Girl. Gaining more work in the 2010s, TV audiences knew him as Craig Tebbe in Switched at Birth. It wasn’t however, until he played the role of Richard Hunter in The Bold Type that he became a familiar face among TV viewers. He starred on the said series from 2017 to 2021.

Aside from his work on television, Samuel Page also landed roles on film. He’s had performances in such movies as The Brotherhood, Cruel World, Falling Up, 1915, Self/less, The Preppie Connection, Caught, and The Tiger Hunter. In addition, he is best known for starring in several Hallmark Channel TV films.
