Biography:

Sana Khan was born on August 21, 1987 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She became involved in modeling at an early age, so she did not pursue any further studies.

She then made her acting debut in the Hindi film Yehi Hai High Society which was released in 2005. She followed this with her Tamil film debut with the movie Silambattam, which became her breakthrough.

For her performance in Silambattam, she received the ITFA Best New Actress Award in 2009. She has since appeared in such films Halla Bol, Thambikku Indha Ooru, Kalyanram Kathi, Gaganam, and Payanam, among others.
