Biography:
Sandrine Holt was born on 19 November 1972 in Croydon, London, England. Prior to her acting career, she first was a runway model in Paris. In 1991, she made her movie debut in Black Robe. She later portrayed the titular character in the 1995 film Pocahontas: The Legend. On television, she starred as Li Ann Tsei on the Canadian series Once a Thief, which was her first regular role on the small screen.
Come the 2000s, she had performances in the films Fast Food Fast Women, Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever, and Resident Evil: Apocalypse. In 2006, she played Evelyn Martin on the Fox series 24. She later had recurring parts on The L Word and Runaway. In the 2010s, she starred on the short-lived series Hostages, as well as played Gillian Cole on House of Cards. More recently, she starred on the TV shows The Returned, MacGyver, and The Crossing.
