Biography:

Sanoe Lake was born on May 19, 1979 in Kauai, Hawaii. She first became known after being cast as Lena in the 2002 surfing feature Blue Crush, alongside Kate Bosworth, Michelle Rodriguez and Mika Boorem.

In 2005, she was cast as Ruby in the film Cruel World, starring Edward Furlong and Jaime Pressly. Two years after, she starred as Rain in Rolling. She continued to appear in film with roles in Half-Life and Creature of Darkness.

She also wrote a book entitled Surfer Girl: A Guide To The Surfing Life and was featured in the music video of the single “Stella” by Jam & Spoon in 1999.
