Biography:
Santiago Cabrera was born on 5 May 1978 in Caracas, Venezuela. He spent his childhood in England, Toronto, Madrid, and Romania. At age 15, he and his family returned to his father’s native Chile. There, he was captain of the football team in high school. In his later life, he became interested in acting, which led him to study at the Drama Centre London.
In 2003, he made his television debut on Spooks. The following year, he made his first movie in Haven. He next portrayed Octavius in the miniseries Empire. He next acted in the films ShakespeaRe-Told: The Taming of the Shrew and Love and Other Disasters. He later became known for starring as Isaac Mendez on the American series Heroes. He also portrayed Camilo Cienfuegos in the movie Che. From 2008 to 2011, he portrayed Lancelot on Merlin. He next portrayed Aramis on the British series The Musketeers.
