Biography:
Sarah Snook was born on July 28, 1987 in Adelaide, South Australia. She trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. She had initially started acting by performing in stage productions. In 2009, she made her first television appearance in an episode of the Australian series All Saints. Her performance as Lorna Whyte in the TV film Sisters of War earned her substantial notice, for which she won an AACTA Award for Best Lead Actress in a Television Drama.
Subsequently, she played remarkable roles in the movies Sleeping Beauty (which was her film debut), Not Suitable for Children, and These Final Hours. Critical praise was once again earned for her performance in the movie Predestination, winning her the AACTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. In 2014, she received wider recognition for starring in her first American movie, Jessabelle. She will star in the upcoming film Steve Jobs.
