Biography:

Scottie Thompson was born on November 9, 1981 in Richmond, Virginia, U.S.. She graduated from Harvard University in 2005. While a student there, she was with the Harvard Ballet Company. In mid 2000s, she began her acting career, first making guest appearances in such television shows as Law & Order, CSI: Miami, and Ugly Betty. Her first recurring role was as Shannon in Brotherhood.

From 2006 to 2008, she became known for her portrayal of Jeanne Benoit in NCIS. Subsequently, she played the role of Diana in Trauma and went on to appear as a guest star in Drop Dead Diva, Rizzoli and Isles, Nikita, Graceland, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Castle, The Blacklist, and Grey’s Anatomy. She made her film debut in 2009’s Star Trek and has since appeared in the movies Skyline, among others.
