Sean Bridgers is an American actor turned screenwriter and producer. His acting career started in the early 1990s. He made his film debut in Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice. He next had roles in the films Nell and Once Upon a Time…When We Were Colored. He later played William Winters on the television series Legacy. In the 2000s, he appeared in the movies Sweet Home Alabama and Witless Protection. He also gained recognition for starring as Johnny Burns on the HBO series Deadwood. In the 2010s, he acted in the movies The Woman, Jug Face, The Best of Me, Room, and Trumbo. He later had roles in The Magnificent Seven and Thank You for Your Service. He also starred as Trey Willis on Rectify and currently plays Louis Darnell on the Epix series Get Shorty.
