Shah Rukh Khan has acted in over 80 movies throughout his career. His work in Bollywood has been widely acclaimed, earning him such monikers as “King of Bollywood” and “King Khan”. His acting career started in the 1980s with roles in some television shows. Later in 1992, he made his Bollywood debut in the film Deewana.
Initially, Khan played the antagonist in many of his early films. For his role in 1993’s Baazigar, he won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. His claim to stardom later happened after starring in romantic films, such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Dil To Pagal Hai, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. His performances in these films won him the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. In the 2000s, he continued to flourish in his acting career.
His performance in the 2002 film Devdas won him much acclaim. He also gave out amazing performances in the films Kal Ho Naa Ho, Main Hoon Na, Swades, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, and Chak De! India, among others. In 2010, he headlined the movie My Name Is Khan and won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. During this period, he also starred in the box-office hits Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Dilwale, and Raees.
Apart from his workout routine, Shah Rukh Khan stays fit and strong with proper nutrition. Already in his 50s, he’s made healthy eating as part of his everyday lifestyle. He also doesn’t have any unhealthy eating habits as he naturally avoids processed foods.
His trainer shared in an interview how the actor is very disciplined when it comes to his diet and his preference in food. “SRK has no bad eating habits, and is in fact very disciplined. I make him follow a high-protein, low-carb diet. He loves to eat chicken and includes it in all his meals,” said his trainer.
