Sharon Horgan is an Irish actress and comedian. She has since ventured into writing and producing. Starting her career in the early 2000s, some of her early appearances were in the sketch shows The State We’re In and Monkey Dust. Her first credited role was as Theresa O’Leary in the comedy series Absolute Power. Later in 2005, she had her first cinematic role as Beth in the film Imagine Me & You. Her major breakthrough was in the sitcom Pulling, where she starred as Donna and for which she also co-wrote. In the 2010s, she played Sharon Morris in the sitcom Catastrophe. She’s also the creator of the HBO comedy series Divorce.
