Biography:

Sherri Saum was born on October 1, 1974 in Dayton, Ohio. She started her career as a model and was discovered in high school. She eventually relocated to New York to have a full-time career. She started her career in the late ’90s on the soap opera Sunset Beach. She was a regular cast on the show, playing Vanessa Hart from 1997 to 1999. Afterwards, she joined the main cast of the TV series Beggars and Choosers.

She continued her TV career in the 2000s, starring on another soap opera One Life to Live as Keri Reynolds. In the late 2000s, she had recurring roles on Rescue Me and Gossip Girl. She also starred on the short-lived HBO series In Treatment. She plays the lead on the TV series The Fosters. She has been doing so since 2013.
