Shiloh Fernandez was born on February 26, 1985 in Ukiah, California, U.S.. Before becoming an actor, he worked as a catalog model. In 2005, he made his professional acting debut in the short film Wa$ted. He next made his first TV appearance on Cold Case. That same period, he had his first notable role as Sean Henthorn on the TV series Jericho. In 2007, he made his movie debut in Interstate.
The following year, he had roles in the movies Red, Gardens of the Night, and Deadgirl. He went on to portray Phil Chess in Cadillac Records. In 2009, he appeared as Benjamin Lambert on United States of Tara. He also notably guest starred on the TV show Three Rivers. In 2011, he starred in the film Red Riding Hood. Subsequently, he starred in the films White Bird in a Blizzard, We Are Your Friends, and Chronically Metropolitan. In 2017, he appeared as Tom on the TV series Gypsy.
