Simone Kessell is a New Zealand actress. She started her career in the 1990s. Initially, she appeared in the shows Hercules and the Amazon Women, Hercules and the Circle of Fire, and High Tide. Her first starring role on TV was as Dr. Stella O’Shaughness in the Australian series Medivac. In 2001, she made her film debut in Stickmen. She later appeared in the movie Liquid Bridge. Later in 2008, she had her first Hollywood film role in The Informers. At the same time, she played a small role in Frost/Nixon. She went on to play recurring character Isabelle Wilson in Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities. In the 2010s, Kessell became known for her recurring roles in US shows. She played Lt. Alicia Washington in Terra Nova and Queen Ahinoam in Of Kings and Prophets. She also joined the main cast of the show The Crossing as Rebecca.
