Biography:

Sofia Black-D’Elia was born on December 23, 1991 in Clifton, New Jersey, United States. She was five when she began acting. She also started taking dancing classes at an early age. At age 17, she landed the part of Bailey Wells in the soap opera All My Children, a role she played from 2009 to 2010.

She then gained wider recognition for playing Tea Marvelli in Skins in 2011, followed by her role as Sage Spence in Gossip Girl in 2012. The following year, she appeared as the recurring character Jules Whitman in Betrayal. She was then cast in her first lead role in a television series, playing Erin Calder in The Messengers. In addition, she has played Jessie in the 2015 film Project Almanac.
