Biography:

Sonakshi Sinha was born on June 2, 1987 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India. She attended the Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University where she graduated in Fashion Designing.

In 2010, she made her acting debut in the film Dabangg, starring opposite Salman Khan. The film became the highest grossing film of 2010 instantly making her a star. Her performance was well-received, earning her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

Her other film work includes Son of Sardar, Rowdy Rathore, Dabangg 2, and Lootera, for which she also received critical acclaim for her performance.
