Biography:

Sonia Agarwal was born on March 28, 1982 in Chandigarh, India. She made her film debut with the 2002 Telugu feature Nee Premakai where she played the role of Raaji. That same year, she appeared in her first Kannada film with Chandu.

In 2003, she gained further fame after being cast as Divya in the Tamil movie Kaadhal Kondein, for which she won the ITFA Best New Actress Award. She has since starred in several Tamil films including Kovil, Madhurey, and Vaanam, among others.

She then went on to secure the part of Anitha in the Malayalam feature Gruhanathan, marking her debut in Malayalam cinema.
