Biography:

Sonya Walger was born on 6 June 1974 in Hampstead, London, United Kingdom. Her acting career started in 1998. This was when she guest starred in an episode of the British series Midsomer Murders. She next appeared on the miniseries Noah’s Ark the following year. She then appeared in 3 episodes of Goodnight Sweetheart.

In 2000, she made her big screen debut in the movie Eisenstein. Her first regular role was as Donna Barnes on the HBO series The Mind of the Married Man. After this ended, she starred on the NBC sitcom Coupling. She has since starred on the TV movie The Librarian: Quest for the Spear, played Jane Parsons on CSI: NY and played Penny Widmore on Lost. She also had starring roles on the short-lived shows Tell Me You Love Me, FlashForward and Common Law.
