Biography:

Sophie Marceau was born on November 17, 1966 in Paris, France. She began her career in 1980 when she starred as Vic Beretton in the French film La Boum.

She reprised her role in the film’s sequel in 1982, gaining her wider recognition. In 1994, she became internationally famous when she appeared as Eloïse d’Artagnan in Revenge of the Musketeers.

She went on to play the title role in the 1997 movie Anna Karenina, and in 1999, starred in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough, playing the role of Elektra King.
