Biography:
Sophie Simnett was born on 5 December 1997 in Chiswick, England. She began taking acting classes at an early age. In 2014, she made her acting debut in the short film titled Footsteps of Angels, after which she played a small role in an episode of Dickensian. In 2016, she played Scarlett in 2 episodes of the miniseries The Five.
That same year, she acted in the independent movie Mum’s List. Simnett’s first starring role on television was as Skye Hart in The Lodge. She went on to play notable guest parts in the TV shows Endeavour, Ransom, and Poldark. In 2018, she had a role in the film Surviving Christmas with the Relatives. Afterward, she starred as Samaira “Sam” Dean in the Netflix series Daybreak.
