Biography:
Stephanie March was born on July 23, 1974 in Dallas, Texas, United States. She’s a graduate of Northwestern University. It was in college that she became actively involved with theater productions, which led her to acting on the screen. In the late 1990s, she finally made her television debut in Early Edition.
In 2000, she became known for her portrayal of Alexandra Cabot in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, where she was a regular cast from seasons 2-5. She returned in the late 2000s and 2010s for seasons 10-11 and season 13. She had also reprised her role as Alexandra Cabot in the short-lived series Conviction in 2006. As a movie actress, she acted in the films Head of State, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, The Invention of Lying, and Innocence.
