Biography:

Stephanie Sigman was born on February 28, 1987 in Ciudad Obregón, Mexico. She started her career acting on the Mexican screen. Her movie debut was in the 2010 Mexican film Rio de Oro. Her lead role in the 2011 film Miss Bala gained her international recognition, earning a nomination for Dublin Film Critics’ Circle Award for Best Breakthrough.

She then made her Hollywood debut as Eva Guerra in the TV series The Bridge. After this, she played Valeria Velez in Netflix’s Narcos, then as Monica Ava in American Crime. Since 2017, she stars as Jessica Cortez on the CBS series S.W.A.T. She has also had notable roles in the movies Spectre, War on Everyone, Shimmer Lake, Once Upon a Time in Venice, and Annabelle: Creation.
