Biography:

Stephen Moyer was born on October 11, 1969 in Brentwood, UK. He began his acting career by performing in theater. From 1993 to 1994, he appeared on the television series Conjugal Rites, marking his debut on the screen. A couple of years after, he was able to score the titular role in Prince Valiant (1997). In the 2000s, he appeared in the movies Trinity, Princess of Thieves (TV movie), Undiscovered, and 88 Minutes.

Despite having appeared in several movies, TV films, and shows, it was only in 2008 that he gained mainstream recognition courtesy of his role as Bill in True Blood, which he played for seven seasons, ending in 2014. While starring on the show, he simultaneously acted in the films Priest, The Caller, The Double, and Devil’s Knot. As of 2015, he stars as Milus Corbett in The Bastard Executioner, which started airing in 2015.
