Stephen Rea is an Irish actor whose career started in the 1960s. His first starring role was in the British comedy series I Didn’t Know You Cared. His acting career flourished during the 1990s, appearing in several films including Bad Behaviour, Interview with the Vampire, All Men Are Mortal, Fever Pitch, and The Butcher Boy. He also portrayed Ned Broy in the biographical film Michael Collins. In the following decade, Rea landed roles in such feature films as The Musketeer, Control, Breakfast on Pluto, V for Vendetta, and The Reaping, among others. Rea was also the narrator of the program Horrible Histories. He recently played Alexander Pope in the sci-fi series Counterpart and Martine Killane in the miniseries The Stranger.
