Biography:
Steven Yeun was born on December 21, 1983 in Seoul, South Korea. He was raised in Michigan, US when he and his family moved to the states. After high school, he attended Kalamazoo College where he finished a degree in psychology. It was in this university that he became interested in improv and acting. After graduating, he joined a sketch comedy group in Chicago.
In 2009, he made his film debut in My Name Is Jerry. He later successfully auditioned for the role of Glenn Rhee in The Walking Dead. His role in the show is his biggest role to date, starring in the series from 2010 to 2016. With his new-found fame, he landed roles in the films I Origins, Okja, Mayhem, and The Star. This year, he starred in the movies Sorry to Bother You and Burning.
