Biography:

Sydelle Noel was born on July 16, 1985 in Hollywood, Florida, U.S. She grew up running track which got her a scholarship to attend University of Georgia. Her professional running career ended after an injury. She then ventured into sports modeling before moving to California to pursue acting.

Debuting in 2006 on television, some of her initial appearances were on the TV shows Everybody Hates Chris, Private Practice, and Lincoln Heights. She next made her film debut in First Sunday as an extra. After more one-time roles in the 2010s, Noel finally got her breakthrough after getting cast as Cherry “Junkchain” Bang in Netflix’s GLOW. At the same time, she played Samanda Watson, a recurring character on Arrow. The actress also played the part of Xoliswa in the film Black Panther.
