Biography:

Sylvester Stallone was born on July 6, 1946 in New York, U.S. He attended Charlotte Hall Military Academy before he enrolled at the Miami Dade College and later at the University of Miami.

He made his film debut with the 1970 movie The Party at Kitty and Stud’s. He appeared in other uncredited and minor roles in films before gaining his major breakthrough in the 1976 smash hit Rocky.

He wrote the script himself and starred in the movie as well, earning him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor and Best Original Screenplay. The film went on to win the Academy Award for Best Picture.
