Biography:

Tahmoh Penikett was born on May 20, 1975, in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada. He attended Victoria Motion Picture School, as well as trained in acting at the Lyric School of Acting. He got his first credited role appearing in various episodes of 24 as a Secret Service agent. He later had one-time roles on such TV shows as Glory Days, Dark Angel, and Stargate SG-1.

His first notable role on television was as Vince Davis/Wes Keenan on Smallville. He then came to prominence as Lt./Capt. Karl “Helo” Agathon on Battlestar Galactica. He simultaneously played the role of Det. Ray Chase on Cold Squad and Elias Noth on Whistler. After Battlestar Galactica, he played Paul Ballard on Dollhouse. More recently, he became known for his performances on the shows Continuum, Bomb Girls, Supernatural, Strange Empire, and Altered Carbon.
